Four-armed splitting wedge

The four-arm splitting wedge is used for splitting wood, logs and quartering wood. The wedge uses 4 arms that split the log into four pieces when struck, with transverse notches preventing the wedge from popping out. Its use is therefore highly safe and undemanding.
